Through our constant encouragement and students' great effort, we are pleased to see the big improvement and outstanding achievements of our students in different local and and international competitions. What we encourage and matter is not the rank or title that they got. What we emphasize is the students gaining confidence and getting improved more completely through different challenges. The good thing is to open our visions to learn from each others' art.
We have another winning result to share with you for the 2015 national design contest – The 2015 DX Canadian High School Design Competition held by Sears and Design Exchange Museum Canada. This year, we are glad to announce that Beware Wet Paint Art School has 3 students winning the top level awards:
Jane Yip - 1st Place of the Graphic Design Category (Senior Group)
Michelle Lai - 2nd Place of the Architectural /Interior Design Category (Senior Group)
Rachel Pun - 2nd Place of the Fashion Design Category (Junior Group)
During the day, the winners were offered with a full day mentorship training experience. They all learnt a lot from visiting professionals in design studios, in Sears and hear how actual market works in different workshops. In the evening time, they were awarded in a ceremony followed with reception and work exhibit. Congratulations to all of you!
Every year in this contest, our older group students who participated put so much effort and their best creative concepts in facing the challenges of the different design categories. The participated work this year totally shows obvious improvement in their thinking, researches and seriousness in being more professional.
